WIRELESS CHARGING How does wireless charging work With wireless charging, power is transferred via electromagnetic induction. While traditional charging requires power to pass trough a wire, with inductive charging a device receives the power it needs trough electromagnetic fields. NFC A Safer and Faster Way to Exchange Data Near Field Communication (NFC) is a shortrange wireless communication technology that allows two electronics devices to exchange information in close proximity to each other. It uses radio waves to send data between devices. NFC officialy supports distances up to 3.5 cm, but in practice it can reach up to 10 cm. Generally, this comes in two forms. Communication-to-devices or a readable signal. MAGSAFE MagSafe is a magnetic technology developed by Apple that lets you wirelessly charge your Apple products (Airpods, iPhone 12 and up, and Apple Watch Series 4) using a compatible charger. The MagSafe magnets ensure that the device and charger align perfectly to get the maximum charging speed. FAST CHARGING Fast Charging is an increasingly populair feature that allows you to charge up your device in just a fraction of the time it takes to do it the old-fashioned way. But not all products use the same type of fast charging-and not all chargers support the various standards.
