About Dopper: find People want to refill their reusable bottle, but don’t know where to find a water tap . That was the conclusion of research we asked consultancy agency Tabula Rasa, specialised in behavioural change, to conduct. The solution? We decided to map all publicly accessible water taps in the Netherlands, and add them to the most-used navigation platform: Google Maps. So whether you’re in the park, at the beach, on your way to the train: simply search for ‘water tap’ on Google Maps to find a tap. Every time you tap, you’re preventing the use of a single-use plastic bottle. Helping to reduce plastic waste has never been easier. You bring your bottle, we’ll show you where to tap. To map them all, we work together with Localyse.eu, a Google Premier Partner specialised in Location-Based Services. In 2022 we launched the service in the Netherlands. Next step: rolling it out across the whole of Europe.
